Private Total Management System (PTMS)

PTMS Private Total Management System

Private 5G has a reputation for being complicated to manage. PTMS is built to change that. It ships with every LG Private 5G deployment, manages the full stack from a single interface, and is designed to be operated by your existing IT team no cellular engineering background required.

What PTMS Is

Built to Be Simple to Operate

Operating Private 5G shouldn't require a cellular background, and with PTMS it doesn't. PTMS is the single interface to your entire Private 5G network, presented through the same operational lens your team already uses: dashboards, alerts, device lists, and policy controls that work the way enterprise IT software works.

It ships with every LG Private 5G deployment and runs the complete stack from one place: vCore, vRAN, Fronthaul Multiplexers, and Radio Units. Your LG partner handles deployment and configuration; from there, everything your team needs to operate the network lives in PTMS, with no separate tools to stand up alongside it. Both UltraSlim and UltraMax are managed through PTMS runs both on-premises and in the cloud, so your team can manage the network from anywhere with no dedicated on-site management server.

  • Designed for enterprise IT staff, not RF or cellular specialists
  • Single interface manages the full stack: vCore, vRAN, FHM, and all Radio Units
  • Ships with every deployment no separate NMS procurement or licensing
  • Role-based access: your IT team, your partner, and LG support each see what they need
  • Remote software updates no truck roll required for firmware or feature releasesanywhere, no on-site management server required
Configuration Templates

Common Deployments Shouldn't Start From a Blank Screen

PTMS includes pre-configured templates for the most common enterprise network architectures. Your partner applies the right template at deployment, and your IT team takes over a network that's already organized the way your operation works.

Integration

PTMS Runs on Its Own. When You Want, It Connects to Your Stack.

PTMS is complete on its own, so you can run the entire network from it without connecting it to anything else. But you may not want a separate screen to watch. PTMS exposes a northbound REST API, so network events, device status, and alerts flow straight into the tools your team already runs. Private 5G becomes another source in your existing operations view, not a separate system to monitor.

  • SCADA / MES connect network status to your operational control layer
  • WMS / ERP correlate connectivity events with operational data
  • NOC tooling / dashboards ingest PTMS telemetry into your existing network operations view
  • SIEM / security platforms feed network authentication and access events into your security stack

How Integration Works

PTMS exposes documented northbound APIs built on REST and O-RAN standards, not a proprietary interface to reverse-engineer. Your team or your LG partner scopes the integration, builds the connection, and tests it against your environment using interfaces your developers already know how to work with.

Available Today

The APIs are live in current production deployments, not a roadmap item. If integration with your IT or OT systems matters to your evaluation, raise it during your site assessment and your partner will scope the work against your actual stack.

Evaluating the integration in depth? Ask your LG specialist for the API documentation and we'll get your technical team what they need to validate the fit against your environment.

Who Operates PTMS

Designed for Your Team Backed by Your Partner

PTMS is built for the IT teams that run enterprise environments, not for 5G specialists. Day-to-day monitoring, device management, and reporting are accessible to your IT staff without requiring RF expertise.

Your LG partner handles initial configuration, ongoing maintenance, and any changes that require deeper platform knowledge. Role-based access controls ensure each party sees exactly what they need, nothing more.

Part of Every Deployment

PTMS is not an add-on license or an optional management module. It is the management system for the LG Private 5G platform, included with UltraSlim and UltraMax deployments, configured by your LG partner as part of the deployment engagement. If you've deployed Private 5G with LG, you have PTMS. If you're evaluating LG, every demo and site assessment includes a PTMS walkthrough.
